 Kevin Colclasure, Lead Minister email Kevin

Kevin is a native of Clay County in Southern Illinois and was born and raised his entire life in Xenia, IL. Kevin graduated from Flora High School in 1984 and then attended St. Louis Christian College. He married his wife, Leah Waddelow, June 13, of 1987 in Flora, IL. Kevin graduated from St. Louis Christian College in May of 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education with a minor in youth ministry. Upon graduation, Kevin served 5 years in youth ministry at Central Christian Church in Charleston, IL from 1989-1994 and began his current ministry with Cornerstone January 1, 1995. Kevin and Leah have two children, a son - Jordan, and a daughter - Tatiana. Kevin enjoys playing basketball, softball, golf, running, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys watching his children play sports. His favorite teams are the St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers, St. Louis Blues, Illinois Fighting Illini, and the Chicago Bulls. |

Aaron came to Cornerstone in the spring of 2007. His wife, Ana, joined him in July of that year after their wedding. Aaron is originally from Salem, IL and has served in ministries from Illinois and Indiana to Tanzania and Russia. He has a degree in International Business from Taylor University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Greenville College. Aaron has a passion for communicating God's Word, believing it has the power to change lives, and his desire is to ignite passion in God’s people through the proclamation of truth. His two favorite Bible verses are Habakkuk 3:19, The Sovereign Lord is my strength. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer. He enables me to stand on the heights, and Jeremiah 15:16, Your words were found and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of Hosts. His hobbies include running, basketball, and most other sports, as well as music, writing, and watching college basketball.

 Nathan Loker,

Nathan is originally from the boondocks of Wayne City, IL. He came to Cornerstone in the fall of 2008 in September. Nathan Graduated from high school in 2004 and began a five year journey at St. Louis Christian College where he acquired a Bachelor’s of Science in the Bible and a Specialty in Youth Ministry in the spring of 2009. Before graduating Nathan served as a teacher for Harvester Christian church for 3 ½ years and a Student Minister at Nashville, IL for a year. Nathan is beginning a new life expedition here at Cornerstone and expects great things from God most of all and to learn from his fellow Church Ministers Staff. His favorite verse to live by is Philippians 1:21, “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” This is the base principal of Revolution Youth Group with the core values of Reach, Refuel, and Reflect. Nathan’s hobbies are basketball, track, cross-country, fishing, hunting, camping, and technology.

Teresa came to Cornerstone in the fall of 2006 after serving in Worship Ministry for over 20 years. Teresa and her her husband Dale have been married for over 22 years and they have 2 children. She attended Lincoln Christian College for one year and then transferred to Lake Land College with a degree in computer programming. She also worked for several years as a private music teacher. Her hobbies are writing music, playing music, watching movies, hanging out with the family.

Erica Kasiar has always had a passion for teaching and working with children! She grew up in Fairfield, IL and received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Evansville in Indiana followed by her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from SIU Edwardsville. Erica taught in the Bethalto School District for 5 1/2 years. She and her husband, Matthew, have been married 8 years. In the fall of 2006, they moved to Effingham for Matthew to begin his career in Heartland Family Dental Care’s home office. Erica began serving at Cornerstone as a volunteer Children’s Director for our preschool through 5th grade students in the fall of 2007. In April of 2008, she was officially added to the staff of Cornerstone Christian Church as the Children’s Minister. Her hobbies include playing tennis, golf, and waterskiing. Erica feels as if God has blessed her with the best of both worlds with the opportunity to continue to teach and most importantly share the love of Jesus Christ in ministry!

Linda McKinney has worked in the office for Cornerstone Christian Church since September of 1977. Linda is married to Dan McKinney. He is an elder at CCC and in Leasing at Effingham Truck Sales. Dan and Linda were high school sweethearts and have been married since 1967. They have two daughters, Tina (husband - Shawn McCrillis) and Tara (husband - Todd Beard); four grandchildren: Allison, Tegan, Daniel and Trevor; and two great grandchildren, Taya and Pacey. Linda thinks she has the greatest job around and feels lucky that she works for the Lord and His church.

 Loretta Davis, Administrative Assistant email Loretta |
Loretta Davis has been the administrative assistant since August, 2005. She also plays the piano and sings on the praise team on Sunday mornings. Loretta is the director of the K-5 “Kidz Kwire”, which performs a Christmas musical and sings with the adult choir on Youth Sundays throughout the year. Loretta is married to Kelly Davis, the band director at Dieterich who also plays drums in the praise team. There were married in 1989 and have 3 children: Jimmy, Melissa, and Isaac. Loretta is thrilled to be a part of the staff at CCC and feels truly blessed to be a part of the Cornerstone family
